So, you may be wondering, “What the fuck is going on in this song?”
1. Everybody’s heard the news about 2012 that this is the end of the Mayan calendar (or is it), and I was thinking, “huh. What if this is the end of the world, but only as we know it?”
2. My friend Zoe Boekbinder has described her music as being for people who wear sequins to the library.
3. What if the meek (AKA nerd and geeks) finally actually DID inherit the Earth?
4. Betelgeuse’s supernova turning night into day. It is unlikely, though, that it will supernova anytime soon. But what if people did NOT freak out about it in a bad way?
5. Neil Gaiman is rad.
That’s pretty much it. Nerds and geeks take over the world, world becomes a better place, astrophysics is awesome. That’s grounds for a song right there.
