Of Cliffs And Waters
It’s standing on top of a cliff And looking down, down, way down At a deep, dark pool; It’s leaping off of that cliff, Feeling the wind resist your plummeting cheeks, And every time, the moment Just before you hit the glassy surface of that pool, You find yourself again on the top of that cliff, Again looking down And once again leaping, And you leap one time with joy And one time out...
